This fine release from Yazoo contains 28 classic sides recorded 1929-1934, expertly mastered by the late Nick Perls. The tunes are Mississippi Bo Weevil Blues, Screamin' and Hollerin' the Blues, Down the Dirt Road Blues, Pony Blues, Banty Rooster Blues, It Won't Be Long, Tom Rushen Blues, A Spoonful Blues, Shake It and Break It, Going to Move to Alabama, Elder Green Blues, Frankie and Albert, Some These Days I'll Be Gone, Green River Blues, Hammer Blues, When Your Way Gets Dark, High Water Everywhere Parts 1 & 2, Rattlesnake Blues, Running Wild Blues, Dry Well Blues, Moon Going Down, Bird Nest Bound, High Sherriff Blues, Stone Pony Blues, 34 Blues, Revenue Man Blues, Poor Me.
Condition of records is E, no scuffs, no scratches, a few spindle marks. Jacket shows slight overall wear, 4 inch seam split top right, small (1/2 inch) seam splits at other 3 openings.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
