Description
Vanguard VSD-6528, “Tennessee Woman” with Charlie Musselwhite, vocal and harmonica; Skip Rose, piano; Tim Kaihatsu, guitar and vocal; Lance Dickerson, drums; Carl Severeid, bass; Red Roulette, steel guitar; from 1969. This original tan-label stereo pressing play-grades at NM with virtually no background sound. Jacket is in original shrink wrap and close to NM except for a bit of ringwear at top and bottom which is easily missed, and an inch or so of light seamwear at bottom where the shrink is broken; there is negligible corner wear; jacket is overall extremely clean. Tracks are “Tennessee Woman”, “Blue Feeling Today”, “A Nice Day for Something”, “Everybody Needs Somebody”, “I Don’t Play, I’ll Be Your Man Someday”, “Christo Redemptor”, “Little By Little”, and “I’m a Stranger”. Great Butterfield-era blues! Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $14.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail for $11.75 extra is strongly recommended. (Last year, a package to the Netherlands was lost in shipment, resulting in disappointment on both sides.) Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs will be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped.
