Description
PLEASE NOTE: This auction is for one of a number of rare Charlie Parker original 78 rpm recordings I will be offering on eBay. The highlights include a number of high-numbered Dials, including the rarest of them all Dial 1056, as well as both Dial Be-Bop Jazz albums, Dial D-1 and D-2, the first of which has been autographed by DIZZY GILLESPIE!!
On offer in this auction is the 10" 78 rpm "Dial 1058" recorded by the CHARLIE PARKER QUINTET. The sides are My Old Flame and Bird Feathers. The record is in very good (VG) condition with clean labels, but with a factory defect causing a tiny piece to be missing from the edge of the B-side label. The record does have a slight loss of gloss and light overall wear, but no scratches. This is one of the rarest of all the Parker Dials, being the highest number and last Dial 78 rpm release, before switching over to the 33 rpm LP format. It was only issued for a short time and in small quantities before the LP conversion. Please examine the supersized scans of the labels I have provided. I encourage interested parties to ask any questions if desired. In addition, I have available scans of the full sides of every record disc/s so you can examine the record's surfaces.

Please understand that the listed shipping charges are only approximate, as the record/records has not been packed up as of yet. In addition, the cost is geographically dependent.
