Description
Charlie Parker Big Band mono Clef 609 black trumpet label deep groove David Stone Martin Cover
Charlie Parker (as) ETC Recorded 1950, 1952
Trumpet label and deep groove both sides.
The record looks VG++ and plays VG on quiet parts to VG+ on loud passages due to vinyl quality. Clef was not known for using high quality vinyl and the record plays with moderate constant surface noise. . Side 1 has 2 small light hairline marks that do not affect play. Both sides on Track 2 have a mark or marks that are parallel to the grooves. They do not affect play. I think they are pressing defects. Grooves look glossy and look little played and do not show heavy play or damage.
The cover is VG+ to VG++.
The front cover has shine and light wear with small piece of slick missing at bottom of pocket. The David Stone Martin artwork is bright and looks nice. The back cover has light wear to moderate. No split seams. Bottom seam is heavily worn especially at the corners. Small spots of wear at the corners. Spine has spots of heavy wear.
Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
I WILL NOT END AUCTIONS EARLY. PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
