Description

Charlie Parker        Bird And Diz      mono    Verve 8006    trumpet label deep groove 

Charlie Parker (as) Dizzy Gillespie(t), Thelonious Monk(p), Curly Russell (b), Buddy Rich(d) Recorded 1950 

Trumpet label and deep groove both sides.  

 The record looks VG++ and plays VG +.  Side 1 has a scuff app 1 inch on Track 1 and a light scuff across most of the side.   Side 2 looks clean.   Verve was not known for using high quality vinyl and the record plays with light surface noise. A few spindle marks on labels both sides.  Grooves look glossy and do not show heavy play or damage.     

 The cover is VG+.  

 The front cover has shine and light wear with small pieces of slick beneath "Verve Records" due to sticker removal. The back cover has light wear and moderate ring wear.  Top seam is split app 1 inch at the pocket and not taped.  Bottom seam is not split.   Spot of wear at top at corner of pocket.  Spine is readable and intact.   

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.
