Description

Very rare Charlie Parker 12" LP on Dial 901 "The Bird Blows the Blues".  Deep-groove yellow and red labels are in exceptional condition: the vinyl surfaces are very bright and clean;  VG++ or better.  The gold and gray textured cover is in remarkable condition – clean and bright with no splits, writing or other defects.  Back cover of jacket is still white with no markings.  VG+++ Just awesome condition.  Cleanest copy of this record I’ve seen … I purchased this from a collector in Australia a few years ago who graded it near mint … Whatever the grade … It has not seen much playing time … The previous owners (I am the third) treated it like the treasure it is.  A real piece of jazz (and Bird) history.

 

Personnel includes: Miles Davis, Howard McGhee and Wardell Gray.
