Description
Ultra Rare original LP of Charlie Parker - Bird Blows the Blues (Dial 901). This is the original pressing with the Yellow and Red labels and ear in the dead wax. This is the first in a series of only five Dial 12" LPs isued before the company went under. Bird blows his best in this fantastic LP which also features Miles Davis and Max Roach on various tracks.
The LP is in the strongest VG+++ condition possible (just shy of mint condition with nothing serious to report). The LP still has it's original shine - something you never see in a Parker LP of this vintage. The cover also rates just a hair below mint with NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers or stamps - it barely has any shelf/age wear. (it looks better in person than in the photo below) Truly an unbelievable copy of a legendary piece of jazz history. I can safely say you will not find a better copy of this LP (unless you press it yourself)
