Description

Charlie Parker "Bird and Diz" 1957 Verve MGV-8006/MG V-8006 mono repress.  Part of the Clef series The Genius of Charlie Parker #4, with Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Curly Russell and Buddy Rich, just awesome content.  Identifying marks: Long Playing Microgroove gone from label, MGV-8006A/MGV-8006B stamped on runouts, previous catalog number scratched out.  Sleeve is wonderful, with only the slightest front ring scuff and discoloration on the back (see photos), an Excellent minus (EX-) sleeve.  Vinyl is visually super clean, with two hard to find tiny scratches on the B side, playing back with near perfection, an Excellent minus (EX-) copy.  This is a really special record.  Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system.  I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
