This contains Bird
Here is one of the most legendary recording sessions ever laid to wax. These two cuts and musicians contained here shaped and changed jazz to this day. Side A is Bird's quintet on Ko Ko which is one of the most virtuosic displays of musicianship ever committed to wax.
It's one of Miles' first recordings at 19. Max Roach, Bird, Curley Russell, and Hen Gates on piano; which was actually Dizzy Gillespie.
Side B is Don Byas Quintette on How High The MoonThe shellac is actually quite good for being 69 years old. VJM Visual Grade =E- (78) Still shiny but without the lustre of a new record, few light scratches. LP: Some wear, scratches and scuffs, but no skipped or repeat grooves.
There is one caveat: it contains a slight crack and I believe it will still play but have not checked it.
