Description
CHARLIE PARKER, VOL. 1, Savoy MG-9000, ten inch LP.
This early 10 inch LP features 8 classic sides recorded 1944-1947. The musicians are Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis (trumpet), Charlie Parker (alto & tenor sax), Tiny Grimes (guitar), Clyde Hart, John Lewis, Duke Jordan (piano), Jimmie Butts, Curly Russell, Nelson Boyd, Tommy Potter (bass), Harold West, Max Roach (drums).
The tunes are Now's the Time, Donna Lee, Chasing the Bird, Red Cross, Ko Ko, Warming Up a Riff, Half Nelson, Sipping at Bell's.
Condition of record is V+, some scuffing, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays well for a ten inch LP. Jacket shows some overall wear, 6 inch seam split at top, 5 inch seam split on spine, stains on front are visble in photo.

We play grade all of our records on quality equipment. We offer a money back guarantee that condition is as described. Plus (+) or Minus (-) indicates variations.
M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
We think that most buyers want to receive their winnings quickly, so we offer the fastest mail options and we pack our records very carefully in heavy duty mailers. Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
