Description

This is CLEF RECORDS 1953 production of Charlie Parker “South Of The Border”. LP plays on 33rpm but measures 10” MGC-513. RARE Vinyl with Microgroove. Vinyl has been tested...has recurring pop and the needle must be moved in that one place on 1st cut of Side B “Begin the Beguine”. The remainder of the LP, both sides, plays through very well with only small pops or ticks in various areas. There are some light SMALL surface scratches on both sides that play through, and there is an obvious 1” surface mar on Side A track 1, but plays through (see close-up photo). Cover is designed by David Stone Martin, and has damage on top and bottom edges and corners. No seam splits. Has original inner sleeve in VG condition. Black Labels have silver print and silver trumpeter logo and are G condition with some wear at spindle holes and groove area. Being sold AS IS. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.
