Description
Charlie Parker - The Complete Savoy Studio Sessions. These records and slipcovers are in excellent condition. This was part of a collection of my Father's (RIP), who took very good care of his recordings. This box set looks untouched and un-played. My Father was meticulous with his records, but he would study the liner notes and be able to recite them at will. The included book has my Father's underlining of that part of the information's or track's importance, also ANY newspaper article having to do with Charlie Parker, and his contribution to this American Artform is included. When my Father heard of Clint Eastwood's movie, "Bird" was coming out, he took our entire family to the opening. NY Times stories about the movie are also included. Love your parents while you still can.
