Description

Rare original deep-groove pressing of Charlie Parker's "Memorial" on the deep red labels of Savoy MG 12009.  The labels show the "Not licensed for radio broadcast - for home use on phonograph" restriction, which appeared on early Savoy 10" and 12" pressings.  The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with just a few superficial and inaudible handling marks; perhaps played once or twice.  The laminated cover is bright and clean throughout; 1/4" wear to the bottom seam, at the spine; 1/4" rubbing to the top corners.

Personnel includes Miles Davis, Bud Powell, John Lewis, and Max Roach.
