Charlie Parker story w.M.Davis-D.Gillespie-Hakim-Roach Savoy mono red DG RVG   Charlie Parker  ' The Charlie Parker story '  SAVOY MG 12079 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - issued in 1956 - on trail off (dead wax) has RVG for Rudy Van Gelder  Described on back cover as "The Greatest Recording Session Made In Modern Jazz History In Its Entirety!". This is the complete recording session from November 26, 1945, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Titles are numbered sequentially, not by album side. Bands 1 through 9 are on Side A, bands 10 through 16 are on Side B. Clean labels with just a trace of spindle wear  Playing grading : record is EX- plays well with loud and clear sound. Has few light occasional background noise and few light occasional ticks Cover grading : cover is VG has wear to corners, edges and to spine. Laminated front cover is clean with a light dent on bottom edge. Back cover has age yellowing and some soiling on top and bottom edge
