Description
Thanks for your interest in this fine and rare piece. This is the first volume of 'Charlie Parker With Strings'. Mercury MG-35010, released in 1950. Please read below for detailed information on the condition of this piece. I will happily answer any questions about this release. Good luck with your bidding.
Track Listing: Side A: April In Paris; Summertime; If I Should Lose You. Side B: I Didn’t Know What Time It Was; Everything Happens To Me; Just Friends.
Vinyl: Flat and clean; no scratches; some surface noise, especially on highs, that diminishes somewhat as each side plays. This noise was much less prevalent on the B side, as compared to A. A rudimentary cleaning seemed to diminish this somewhat, so perhaps a thorough cleaning on a cleaning machine will remove this effect.
Record label: Some slight wear, including what appears to be a greasy fingerprint on Side A, perhaps from original purchase, that spills over into the deadwax a bit.
Jacket: Fully intact; slight age spotting. Pictures of Parker, Buddy Rich, Ray Brown, and Mitch Miller, along with liner notes by Norman Granz.
Details: I accept Pay-Pal only and will ship to US addresses for $4.00. Other shipping methods are available at additional cost. Based on the value of this piece, I would strongly recommend shipping insurance. Please inquire about international shipping. For international shipping, I prefer US Post Office Express Mail, because it allows tracking of the package to its destination. For example, I recently sold a similar piece to a buyer in Japan, and it made it there in about 5 days.
