Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- This is an extremely rare item because it includes a Bonus White Label PROMO ONLY, a 7", 33 RPM interview with Charlie Rich.
- This album includes his two biggest hits, "Behind Closed Doors" and "The Most Beautiful Girl" which were #1 country and pop hits.
- It was produced by the legendary Billy Sherrill.
- This album and those songs won multiple awards including Grammys, CMA, AMA and ACM awards for singles and album of the year in 1973 &1974.
- This album and 7" have never been played.
- The paper-on-board cover has tight seams and shows some slight storage wear.
- This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from the CBS/Epic rep in his record store in 1973. It has been in storage for 46 years.
