A beautiful copy of the very rare and sought after FANTASTIC GREATEST HITS LP by 'Eilrahc Elddewt" aka Charlie Tweddle. Original GATEFOLD private pressing!! The inner sleeve has been signed by Charlie himself! (I should say I believe it has been signed, I've never seen another copy so I don't know if they all had an autograph printed on, but it looks like ink on the textured paper and it looks like Charlie's signature - I had him sign my cd, when i saw him play in San Francisco last year - looks right) Charlie is now the worlds greatest cowboy hat maker and book writer-- have look on the internet for his site... a cool dude!

Fantastic Greatest Hits was created after a long chain of events including a lead guitar position in the Kansas City garage band The Prophets of Paradise, a stint in art school, a 3 year lsyrgic tour through the Haight-Ashbury, and a childhood filled with chirping crickets and UFO sightings. By the time 1971 rolled around, Charlie's pharmaceutical wanderings led him to believe he was a real life prophet and that his brand of Appalachian Psychedelia would change the world. Instead, the LP was almost universally panned and he spun off into a deep depression from which he wouldn't emerge for several years.
Fast forward 20 or so years and his lone eccentric LP would become a highly sought-after (and befuddling) psychedelic artifact, quietly championed by the few who had the great fortune to run across a copy in a flea market or thrift shop. Give this album some time, we think (and hope) you will find it rewarding in some small or big way.
COVER: VG++ Very mild wear to corners, no split seams. NO ringwear front or rear. Looks awesome, nice bright colors - spine is nice.
VINYL: NM Gorgeous copy with lots of shine, about 4 or 5 light wispy play marks - sounds GREAT! LP was played only a handful of times and has been ours for many years. Record is sharp and retains an as new sound, look and feel.
LABELS: M Beautiful clean, no wear.
