This marvelous set from Mosaic contains all of the music recorded by Charlie Ventura and Flip Phillips for the Clef and Verve labels in the years 1947-1957, 116 tracks in all. Musicians include Conte Candoli, Jimmy Wisner, Ralph Burns, Chubby Jackson, Marty Napoleon, Buddy Rich, Hank Jones, Jo Jones, Dave McKenna, Sonny Igoe, Mary Ann McCall, Charlie Shavers, Kai Winding, Lenny Hambro, Howard McGhee, Ray Brown, J. C. Heard, Sonny Criss, Shelly Manne, Bennie Greene, Max Roiach, Frank Rosolino, Cecil Payne, Harry Edison, Bill Harris, Oscar Peterson, Barney Kessel, and many more.
Condition of records is E, no scuffs, no scratches, no spindle marks. Box is very clean - no seam splits, no broken corners. Booklet is like new.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect. Shiny surface, no groove wear.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
