Description

This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, from several different labels - a real mix this time with a nice selection of unusual small label stuff. There are a handful of Aladdin and King, but there are also some one offs from Ivy, Home of the Blues and more.

Here's the info on this item:

Release: Chuck Berry and His Combo - Brown Eyed Handsome Man / Too Much Monkey Business

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1956

Notes: Blue & silver label first pressing, manufactured by Plastic Products in Memphis, TN. This is the fourth single by Berry and like the previous three performed well on the R&B charts, peaking at #4. Both of these tracks are uptempo guitar numbers with a nice sprinkling of the blues.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of little dimples. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers but there is a bit of light wrinkling. This is a really copy overall.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another auction: R&B/doo-wop/blues 78's.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.

On Apr-22-24 at 14:44:22 PDT, seller added the following information:

PLEASE NOTE: For some reason, some of the items in the auction are showing as "Local Pickup Only". I will ship these records anywhere in the world. If you win an auction for one of these, please just wait for an invoice before paying and I will get you the proper shipping costs. Thanks for bidding!!
