Here is a chance to get your hands on a great playing copy of this RARE Chet Baker - 'CHET' LP. This is the ORIGINAL MONO 1959 Riverside 12-299 pressing of Chet's most sought after record. This copy features the original Riverside Microgroove blue label. I've included several pics of the vinyl and sleeve but please ask any questions and I'll be happy to answer them for you. I am personal collector of Chet Baker records and I know that these are hard to find in good shape. The jacket on this copy is still very tight. There are no splits. The top and bottom edges have very slight ripples in the laminated cover. The photos are still bright and colorful. The bottom left corner has some wear. The spine looks great and reads very clearly. I'd grade the cover at a solid VG to VG+ because of the bottom corner wear. The vinyl plays really well. I'd grade Side 1 at a solid VG+ with light marks that do not disrupt the listening experience at all (slight noise between songs an an occasional pop - very nice listen). I'd grade Side 2 at a conservative VG on appearance only. There is a small smudge between tracks 2 & 3 on Side 2 that is visible to the eye but that does interrupt playback at all. I'm grading conservative here just to make sure you are happy with this record. If there are any particular tracks you'd like me to play grade for you just let me know and I will. Again, both sides are really a great listen and would be a joy for any jazz or Chet Baker fan to add to their collection. LPs are shipped in a proper LP mailer.
