Description

Chet Baker and Strings Original Debut Album - 1st press on 1954 Maroon Columbia Labels MONO CL-549. ***(Deadwax Side 1 # XLP31289-1C / Side 2 # XLP31290-1A)***
DISC: EX+ with both sides nearly flawless. Side 1 a little cleaner than side 2. Side 2 has two very small fine light hairs that are un-noticeable without high light. Occasional finger print on surface, but could be VPI cleaned away. Hard to find a cleaner copy of this original jazz classic on the original Maroon MONO Columbia label. Extraordinarily clean and well kept for age and rarity. Archival quality. Hardly played.
Cover: VG+ with great art and minimal if any ring wear. Very light fade if any, and minimal yellowing to whites on page. Minor spine fray and begins of seem splits in photographed areas (top right by insert 2 inch, bottom left corner on title spine 1/2 inch or less on corner). Price sticker on back cover by CL=549 on top right corner, back cover. Hard to find a cleaner copy. A white "holed" sleeve came with this LP but was very yellowed so I put inside the insert and gave the LP a new white cover sleeve with a plastic outer sleeve.
Please view my other listings for more Jazz masterpieces. I am slowly listings my whole rare jazz collection. Please check back.
I do $4 for the first LP to ship, and $1 extra to ship additional LP's after that in the same order.
