Description

Chet Baker & Art Pepper – Playboys

Label: World Pacific Records – PJ-1234
Series: Pacific Jazz Series
Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Mono
Country: US
Released: 1958

Up for sale is a VERY early pressing--perhaps a 1st pressing (no guarantees)--of a legendary 67-year-old album.  The condition is (G+/VG++).  The cover was completely detached except along the spine, so I had to use an SeamzEazy Jacket Repair to reattach the top front-and-back seam and the bottom front-and-back seam, with a light sanding to clear out chipping along the edges.  Otherwise, the cover is fine.  The record, however is a SOLID VG++.  I just listened to it and it plays VERY quiet with virtually 2-3 pops.  PLENTY of LUSTER (check out the pics).  The record is in OUTSTANDING condition.  This is a chance for the serious jazz aficionado to get an exceptionally rare record in excellent condition.
Please ask any questions you may have before bidding.  This is a NO RESERVE auction with a STARTING BID of $1.00.  Payment is due within 24 hours after the auction is over.  Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!!!
