Description
DESCRIPTION: Chicken Shack - 100 Ton Chicken LP. 1st UK pressing with A1/B1 matrix, Blue Horizon labels and Gatefold sleeve with record inserting inside from left to right.
LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Blue Horizon 7-63218.
YEAR OF RELEASE: 1969.
COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK.
CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a decent sheen and some light brushing lines and a few hairlines. Sits flat on the turntable. The music is pretty clean and loud with some ticks and a trickle of background sound in quiet passages. Cover is in clean condition. It is firm and square and has only moderate edgewear (1" heavy to centre fo spine) moderate cornerwear and light creasing. Faint price printed to rear of sleeve and a name printed to one side of otherwise clean labels-no rips, stickers or sticker tears.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades.
