Release Date: 2021 / Dec. 22 Modern soul jazz in the early 70's ~ The debut album with respect for the great jazzmen who delicately arranged the thrilling jazz-funk sound is finally released in Japan!
Milt Jackson, Cal Tjader, Billy Wooten ... The debut work "The Path" released by the new star of the vibraphone world in 2020 opens with "We Live in Brooklyn Baby" by Roy Ayers sampled by many artists such as Sumifun Wesson and Mo's Davis, and Miles Respect for great jazz ancestors, including cover songs such as "Blue In Green" by Davis and Bill Evans, and the movie "Mo'Better Blues" directed by Spike Lee composed by Bill Lee. Beautiful soul jazz!
After studying composition and percussion at the Taipei National University of the Arts, he majored in vibraphone at the Philadelphia University of the Arts Jazz Department. A groovy that captures the hearts of soul-rare groove fans while being an orthodox jazz musician who has also participated in the quintet of trumpet player Jeremy Pelt and has performed in Japan including tours around Europe. A vibra phonist who is now attracting attention for his swinging play. "Blossom in a Stormy" is an exotic soul jazz arrangement of the thrilling "Invitation", the funky "Blind Faith" with entwined black baselines, and the Taiwanese folk song "The Torment of a Flower", which is famous for Teresa Teng's singing. The original composition and arrangement skills such as "Night" have been highly evaluated in overseas JAZZ magazines, and it is a masterpiece that is perfect for debut!
