Description

Welcome Back Rare Vinyl Fans & Fiends Alike. So sorry for the rather long un-intended hiatus from selling since last spring but other demands on my time were required.

HERE you will often FIND offered BETTER CONDITION RECORDS than many other

(visually graded only) sources offer, WHICH ARE FREQUENTLY TOP COPIES & VIRTUALLY new or LIKE-NEW

and unplayed or played very few times, AND/OR THE BEST COPIES POSSIBLE of many choice records.

Purchased: NEW. Extremely Rare and excellent communal New York city private pressing with players who have crafted some pretty compelling Eastern tinged atmospheric psychedelic and often zonal music. Undoubtedly a superior copy to the one that recently sold on February 16th by another seller who admitted in their description that vinyl was not their field of selling or expertise.  Well for those of you who have followed my auctions or bought from me in the past, you know that it IS my field of expertise and actually that's the only other copy I've seen in 40+ years which just happened to be up already 2-3 weeks back when I was planning on listing mine. So that one's gone and here's another even better one that can't likely ever be possibly upgraded!!

Label/# + Year of release/Date of pressing: Original U.S. REAL R-101/1969/70? See matrix # reference!

Cover Condition:  SIS/M- with a couple of small nicks in the bottom edge and barest hints of a 1/4 inch split seam in the middle of the top where the shrink got perforated.

Inner sleeve: Original toned white paper with some creases with bottom seam split 2 1/2 inches to which I've added a sheer plastic liner.

Record condition: Looks Immaculate M(-) with precious few hairlines or marks whatsoever and plays with Excellent + fidelity and with little appreciable background noise or clicks throughout predominantly on side 1 even in the quietest parts. HOWEVER on side 2 despite looking the same and appearing just as pristine M(-) there is a fairly constant moderate background noise present due to evidently the pressing itself which means it's audibly strictly VG(+), except for on track B2 which is all drums so it's considerably less noticeable here as the louder percussion audibly overpowers most of this pressing noise. On the other 3 tracks of side 2 this background noise doesn't overpower or obscure the subtleties of the music, but it is ever-present and equally audible, so for fussy listeners it can be a little annoying or distracting. Despite this I'd still say that no upgrade is REAListically likely here. I doubt any other copies even being visually this pristine would play any differently and I'd be surprised if there were more than 250-500 copies pressed originally with an artifact such as this. I played this at most 3-4 times in 4+ decades, the most recent time burning it to disc in February 2010 which is what I just reviewed it audibly from to give you the full sonic details! Positively no returns on this one as you've been fully informed!

Label/condition: Both pristine M.

Matrix #'s: R 101 A & B + 1-Z.70.

PAYMENT is expected within 1 week unless you're confirmed bidding on other items. Combined shipping is available for multiple purchases up to a 2 week duration counting from the day of the first winning bid and/or confirmed purchase (if Buy it Now) made by any buyer. All orders will be shipped within 1 week of payment with records removed from sleeves (unless SS) to prevent any cover seams from splitting.
Please understand that all orders will be expertly boxed with care and shipped promptly, but I cannot and will not be held responsible for anything lost or damaged in transit. Consequently insurance is strongly recommended for all US winners. Payment is Pay Pal only for all foreign buyers and insurance is unavailable as it is too expensive. Once again, I cannot and will not be held responsible for any item(s) lost or damaged in transit due to careless handling by the USPS or foreign postal services. Any/All buyers outside of the U.S. hereby agree to accept full responsibility for any loss or damage to/for any item sent, and furthermore accept that the seller, myself, will not be held liable or responsible for any refund or further recourse for recovery of the lost or damaged item(s). THANKYOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING & INTEREST AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING!!

INVOICES: It is not my policy to send out invoices unless or until requested. This is because I don't want to rush people to pay in case they're wanting to potentially win another item or items and take full advantage of my combined shipping offer. I can't predict what else someone might want to bid on and I don't necessarily know from one week to the next what I'm going to list for sale from my collection. However if you don't want to wait then feel free to pay for your item(s) won at any time. All information is in my listings for the proper shipping costs depending upon where you are located. If you're not sure then please e-mail me for confirmation and I will gladly send you an invoice. Please do not abuse my grace period for paying within 2 weeks or just let me know if you're having a problem so we can work it out. I'm friendly and understanding and THANKYOU FOR BEING CONSIDERATE!  However, I reserve the right to either relist any item or offer it to the runner up bidder if you don't pay for it within the alloted time period and play by the rules. If that happens then I will not allow you to bid in future auctions of mine.

SHIPPING & HANDLING RATES:   Please note that as of today 26th February 2012, I've lowered the price of additional single LPs for media mail for U.S. customers to $1.50 instead of $2.00 for up to 6 albums total, per my attempts to keep it closer to actual costs of mailing. Remember that gatefolds weigh more so I've tried to establish a medium based on that.

1.Continental U.S.A.-1 LP is $8.00 for Priority + $1.00 each additional lp OR $4.00 for Media mail + additional single lps are $1.50 each up to 6 total. More than 6 may require an adjustment.

2.Alaska, Hawaii & Canada are $8.00 for 1st lp  Airmail and $2.50 for each additional single album up to 5 total.

3.Mexico & South America are $14.00 for 1st lp Airmail and $3.50 for each additional up to 5 total.

4.Europe is $15.50 for 1st lp Airmail and $3.50 for each additional up to 5 total.

5.Japan, Asia, Australia & New Zealand, Korea, Russia and United Kingdom are $15.50 for 1st lp Airmail and $4.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

6.Africa and Middle East are $16.00 for 1st lp Airmail and $5.00 for each additional up to 5 total.

ATTENTION FOR ALL FOREIGN BUYERS: For a few international buyers lately who have purchased 6 or more LPs for combined shipping the above rates I list have been inadequate to cover my shipping costs because more than 4 additional LPs can push the weight to over 4 pounds into a higher shipping cost category. So for now please ask for a shipping quote if you're buying more than 4-5 LPs. Rest assured that as always I will strive to offer all customers the best rates possible to save them money and be as close to the actual shipping costs for their item(s) as possible within reason. Please understand that LPS, their covers (gatefold or non-gatefold), boxes and packing materials utilized can vary somewhat in their respective weights so with all of my posted rates I try and set averages that are appropriate to generally cover my costs and be close to yours also. Thanks once again for your understanding in my efforts to serve you all to the best of my ability.

PLEASE NOTE:  Rest assured that I only charge to basically cover my costs and all of my shipping supplies and handling time to pack are factored in & included already with no additional charges added on to pad the actual sales prices. I strive to satisfy and attain your 100% satisfaction as well as retain my 100% feedback rating!

MY PRESERVATION POLICY on many records that I revered was simple and I share it with you now so that you understand why you take virtually no risk buying from me providing the album was bought new and not used originally. When I'd buy a "new" album and it was something I liked a lot and still available (most of my new albums were purchased in the early-mid 1970's!) I'd initially play it between 15-25 times to become familiar with it and then sell it to a friend as a still EX+ well preserved nice copy. (Adding outer & inner plastic sleeves was standard procedure additionally limiting cover wear and/or hairline paper sleeve marks.) Then I'd buy another new copy and in some cases if a particular favorite then yet another, meaning that I only played the 2nd copy (now my 1st) 5-10 times and the 3rd (now my 2nd if I kept 2) once or twice, always initially taping or now in more recent years currently burning to disc 1 copy within the first couple of  plays thus significantly limiting play to this day on most of my lps. I did/do this with many single copy rarities as well so most play was/is on tapes or cd-rs. I bought a lot of CDs of favorite things also which further helped preserve my vinyl and limit play of much of it. Sometimes I also acquired rare British and European vinyl which I never saw imported in stores and sold new in the United States or Canada from contacts I established through mail correspondence during the 1970's. I developed contacts in England, France, Germany, Holland & Norway. Be aware that the MAJORITY of albums or occasionally 45's that I list ARE FREQUENTLY my ONLY COPIES so bid accordingly as you'll not likely see most of them listed by me again.

SO, MOST OF MY ALBUMS ORIGINALLY BOUGHT NEW, STILL ACCURATELY APPEAR VIRTUALLY NEW AND UNPLAYED, AND MOST WERE HONESTLY PLAYED NO MORE THAN 5-10 TIMES AND OFTEN ONLY TWICE OR THRICE AND ARE STILL NEAR MINT!! WHY TAKE THE RISK & HASSLE WITH RETURNS EVEN IF THEY"RE ACCEPTED. SHOP HERE AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT AND DISAPPOINTMENT FROM YOUR FUTURE E-BAY VINYL TRANSACTIONS NOW!
