From 1955 to 1956, Grant was loaned to Thailand by MP & GI to make two "Sino-Thai Cooperation" films - "Jade Phoenix" and "Golden Dragon". Grant sang three Thai songs. "Hong Yok 玉凤" two episodes "Love From FarAway Places" and "Never Love Another Like You" "Golden Dragon Golden Dragon" episode - "My Life Can't Be Without You". The three songs were very popular in Thailand at that time. "My Life Can't Be Without You" "ชีวิตฉันขาดเธอไม่ได้" Thai version of "Temple Bell".
