Description

The Vinyl. Looks VG-; plays better. A fair number of paper scuffs a a couple of feelable small scratches that do not affect play. Some surface noise gives this the weak vinyl rating. On Side one, Let's talk plays VG-, Midnight Hour plays VG+, Come on plays VG++, Dark Side of the Mushroom plays VG to VG+ with light crackles, and Hot n Dusty Road plays M-. On Side 2, Are you gonna be there plays VG++, Gone and passes by plays VG with a few loud pops, and a couple of pops between the tracks; No Way Out plays VG to VG+ with some light crackles, Expo 2000 plays at VG+, and Gossamer's Wings plays VG to VG+. This was just not the best pressing. I got this from a trade in Goldmine in 1983.

The Cover. VG-. Nothing nasty going on here, but just some overall wear and the promo drill hole in the upper left of the cover. No writing on the cover, but some tape on back left/front right of cover, and some mildew looking stuff on back cvr on top left and top right near drill hole on back cvr. Top seam is flaking and split about an inch on each top corner, bottom seam is flaking but not bad with some corner rounding and spliting. Spine is only slightly worn near corners and only beginning to flake, with clearly visible undamaged title on spine.

Records, when play graded, are graded using my Ruby 3 BMicro Benz cartridge on my Rockport "Sirius" turntable.
