Fantastic rare instrumental Northern Soul Motown album by the Hitsville legend Choker Campbell. Hits Of The 60's was a fine compilation of instrumental versions of Tamla hits such as "Come See About Me", "Wild One", "Baby I Need Your Loving", "Hitch Hike" etc. Also included are the tracks which Choker released as as UK single on TMG 517 "Mickey's Monkey / Pride & Joy". (A bit like Earl Van Dyke's "That Motown Sound" LP on TML 11014, except that the Campbell album is slightly rarer and has more swing!)

Condition: Cover is VG+ with slight staining on the rear, some small biro marks also on the rear, and evidence of a small sticker removal. Slight edge and corner wear. The vinyl sounds excellent. No added distortion. No jumps. No sticking. Just the occasional low level pop or crackle. Visually has a shine but there are some scratches and wear. Labels have two sticker removal marks each side (see photo) so generally VG. 

I'm listening to it now as I write this description and I have to admit it does sound great! Love that Motown sound!!!!
