Artist:  JAN SMETERLIN, piano

Title:   “Chopin: Nocturnes”

Label:   EPIC.  Labels are yellow with black text.  Monaural pressing on medium weight vinyl.  Catalog number is SC-6007. 

Year:  1956

Condition: 

BOX:   Box is VG to VG+ with obvious signs of wear and handling, but still presentable.   Laminated front panel has nice and clear Warhol artwork, but there is some darkening and tape marks around the edges of the panel.  Seams have darkened with age.  Top seam opening has small split (less than 1 inch).  Reverse panel has overall darkening and a faint pencil notation in upper right corner. 

DISCS:  Discs are in POOR condition with lots of scratches.  Most are very light surface marks and it may play through without skipping, but for a classical collector these would be essentially unplayable and be considered a “filler” copy. That said, this could represent an excellent opportunity to add this amazing, ultra-rare ANDY WARHOL artwork to your collection at a lesser price tag than the $800+ price tag of a NM example!!

Original cardboard inner sleeves are included in VG- condition.  They show  spotting and discoloration due to age, and approx 3 inch splits at the center of the side seams.  One has a 2 inch split at the bottom.  The other has a 3 inch split at the top.
