Description
Over the next month I will be selling a superb and classic Jazz collection from a collector over 40 years. All of the L.P.s have been kept in fantastic near new condition except where stated. Please see my seller list.
Regarded rightly as a classic recording of a big band featuring the then cream of South African jazz musicians- alongside Chris McGregor are featured Dudu Pukwana, Barney Robachane ,Kippie Moeketsi, Dennis Mpali ,Mongesi Feza. This is beautiful and truly uplifting music.
Recorded in 1963 Jazz The African Sound received a very limited release in 1991 on Teal Records ( white Gallo labels) ( TEL 2300). The best heavy vinyl was used and sound quality is tremendous. Sleeve has small split at bottom but is barely noticeable otherwise perfect and vinyl MINT!!
