Deram
Stereo
Here we have the very first press of Chris Youlden’s Nowhere Road! This psyche rarity hardly ever comes up for auction, and when it does it is usually in some poor state!
However, we have ourselves here a perfectly MINT and UNPLAYED very 1st press!
Released on Deram on the red bridge Deram label with a white background, it has the earliest matrix and the very very earliest stampers, making this the most archive and collectible pressing of Nowhere Road in existence!
The record shows no sign of being played at all, and playback is simple perfect on all frequencies!
There are many variants of this record, but only the very first pressings had the following criteria:
· Red and White Deram Labels.
· The P-1W/P-1W matrix endings.
· The unlaminated gloss Robert Stace outer sleeve.
· The blue stereo inner with the first press date upon.
Matrix Numbers
XZAL-11899 P-1W & XZAL-11900 P-1W

Sleeve Condition.
The 1st print unlaminated Robert Stace outer sleeve is in superb condition! There are no rips, stains, tears or writing to mention! The wording on the wide spine is perfectly readable and is lovely and straight. All the edges are straight and crisp with only the very mildest shelf wear to corners. The colours are as vibrant as they were on the day of release. The inside of the gatefold is in near perfect condition! The rear of the sleeve is as good as the rest of the sleeve, with only the faintest sign of ring wear! As good as you’re going to ever get!
Excellent +
Inner Condition.
The 1st press “Handling Equipment” white inner with blue text is in great condition, with no writing, stains or splits to mention! All the edges are nice and sharp and it holds the record perfectly as it should. There is only mild discolouring to one edge to mention and some mild creasing! Utterly Superb!
Excellent +
Label Condition.
The first press Deram Records are in fantastic condition. There are no rips, rubbing, writing or stains to mention. There is no centre hole damage at all. Even under a strong light, there is only one invisible spindle to be seen! It’s clear that this record has only been played once or twice!

Vinyl Visual Condition.
The record itself looks beautiful! It still retains its factory shine and lustre with no scratches or warping at all. Even under a strong halogen bulb, not one sign of play can be seen. It is as new! You will not find better, this is your final upgrade!

Vinyl Audio Condition.
The record sounds superb from start to finish! There are no jumps, skips or distortion at all!! On all frequencies it sounds simply superb and just jumps off the vinyl. It’s a sharp crystal sound and is such a joy to hear the record in this way. An audiophiles dream!

Happy Bidding
All my records will be sent first class, signed for and insured to their value!
I will package the records with extreme care, with hard stiffeners and the vinyl separate to the sleeve and inner, all housed in a Defenda lock tab record box envelope.
I try to be as honest as I can in my descriptions, taking as many pictures as possible, but if you don’t feel happy with your purchase, I offer no quibble full refunds as soon as the record is sent back. I will not give partial refunds however, only full. I think this is fair, Thanks!
