Description

COLLECTOR'S ALERT! Charley Christian and Dizzy Gillespie "Jazz Immortal 1941 After Hours Monroe's Harlem Mintons." 1957 Esoteric ES-548 mono.  Subtitle on back: "The Harlem Jazz Scene - 1941."  A little piece of jazz history, a 1957 release of the original 1941 live tape recordings, Christian's first name misspelled on cover.  Sleeve is still shiny, with very little wear.  Has a vertical line of discoloration on the back (see photo).  Vinyl is solid, with some light scuffing and a single light scratch.  Plays back with a light crackle here and there, an occasional light click, but all in all, a nice copy of this sought-after collectible LP.  Just cleaned with a VPI wet-vac system.  I'll pay the shipping via USPS Media Mail.
