For sale is an autographed copy of the Chromatics album Kill For Love. This is a double vinyl pressed on heavy white vinyl. These autographed copies were limited edition and was purchased on the bands record label, Italians Do It Better website. The album has never been listened to and is near mint/perfect shape.

Kill for Love is monumental — a city symphony of bass synths & electric piano, a blockbuster of blood, sweat, & tears. The 90-minute double LP, half a decade in the making, is a testament to the breadth and scope of Chromatics’ sound. This time realized with the sprawling grandeur of Technicolor glory. The long-awaited successor to acclaimed Chromatics albums Night Drive (2007) & In the City (2006) feels at once like an artistic breakthrough: from the expressive twang that introduces opening number “Into the Black” it is clear this is a moment to remember. It’s the same dream every night: a woman in the Portland rain, a hand suspended above the piano, a bottle by the foot of the bed. An electric guitar drips its delicate way through a gauze of reverb, of resplendent noise. There’s a message on the machine. There’s thunder rolling in from beyond the horizon. It’s too late. Our dreams have all vanished. This is a record of loneliness and heartbreak, the longing felt for an alternate reality in which mistakes went unmade & promises unbroken. But it’s not without hope. Kill for Love takes place at the time of night when what’s bleak seems romantic, & vice versa. The screen stays flashing in your mind. Is it something you imagined, this melodrama?
