Description
Chuck Jackson 7-inch 45 RPM record featuring "I Only Get This Feeling" b/w "Slowly But Surely" on ABC Records, catalog ABC-11368.
Released in 1973, this single came during Chuck Jackson's later career resurgence after his celebrated Wand Records years. Produced by Steve Barri, the record blends smooth soul vocals with the polished early-1970s ABC sound. While Jackson is best remembered for classics such as "Any Day Now," his ABC material has developed a following among collectors looking beyond the better-known hits. "I Only Get This Feeling" is a strong example of sophisticated crossover soul from this period.
A nice addition for soul collectors, Northern Soul enthusiasts, and fans of classic male vocal performances from the golden era of American soul music.
