Description
Up for auction is an original copy of the Circle Jerks Group Sex. First pressing with from Frontier Records with large pressing ring and some song credits indicating Circle Jerks instead of the band members' names. Comes with original lyric insert. See Condition comments regarding cover.
(As a side note. People mistakenly think this is a second pressing. This is not a second pressing. It is just a different version of the same first pressing that has a red label but this has two yellow labels instead. The run out matrix is identical to the red label version as is the pressing ring and both versions are original 1980 initial releases. If you see a version with a small pressing ring or with only the band members names listed for credits, then that is a later pressing. )
© & ℗ 1980, Frontier Records, Sun Valley, Ca
This version has two yellow center labels. A number of songs on labels have songwriting credits to "Circle Jerks", changed on later pressings. Differs from Circle Jerks - Group Sex which has one red label (Side A) and one yellow label (Side B).
-No barcode on back.
-Some copies include a b/w insert containing band photo and credits with lyrics, artwork and publishing credits on flipside.
All Morris-Rogerson & Hetson-Rogerson songs published by Plague Music, all others published by Young Barbiturate Music.
