Description
ARTIST: Clarence Williams Blue Five (with Sidney Bechet and Thomas Morris)
LABEL: Okeh 4966
TITLES: T'Ain't Nobody's Bus'ness If I Do / Achin' Hearted Blues
CONDITION: V+
DESCRIPTION: Rare early Clarence Williams Blue Five with Sidney Bechet and Tom Morris. Terrific jazz both sides. "Achin' Hearted Blues" is a rich melodic tune taken at a fast tempo (hardly a slow blues or even a blues at all) featuring a terrific clarinet player who still at this late date, to the best of my knowledge, has not been positively ID'ed. Plays strong with occasional light surface noise.
