Description
Black label with silver text, deep groove, original. Leader, Terry, trumpet; Mike Simpson, sax, flute; Remo Biondi, guitar; Willie Jones, piano; Jimmy Woode, bass; Sam Woodyard, drums. Recorded in Chicago in 1957. The record was produced by the well know disc jockey, Holmes "Daddy-O" Daylie. 9 tracks.
Cover: VG+ or Better Intact and clean. Old, original price sticker on the corner of the back cover. Moderate aging on the back cover, slightly darker along the edges. Slight soil from ordinary handling. Front cover is like new with some aging along the edges. Fine, overall condition.
Record: VG++ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. No markings on the vinyl surface. Possibly played only 2 or 3 times with care. New in appearance. No noise on Side 1. Slight groove noise and a small number of clicks on Tracks 2,4, and 5 on Side 2. A few crackles at the very end of track 5, Side 2. The clean surface condition indicates that the slight noise may be in the pressing and not caused by wear. Audibly checked.
