Legendary NWoBHM rarity!
CHARGER - Desperadoes / Are You Out There
Privately pressed sole-release 7" single from a North Yorkshire band. It's believed that only 500 copies were made, and it's often listed as being released in 1987 but Colin Bell (lead vocalist and bassist) claims it was released in 1980! (These aren't my recordings and aren't taken from my copy of the single).
Please see photos of the actual record for sale. It isn't mint. It is however a very serviceable VG/VG copy (UK "Record Collector" grading). The sleeve has some creasing and a little edgewear but nothing drastic, it has no tears or splits, retains a good sheen, and looks like you would expect a 30-odd year old single that hasn't been preserved in aspic to look. It's a used and loved copy with lots of usage left in it. In recognition of its rarity the vinyl would probably benefit from a clean but I've just tested both sides and it still plays through very nicely, there's a fingerprint on side A which will come out during that clean but no significant marks or scratches. So, it's not perfect, but it's still a great copy of an incredibly rare legendary New Wave of British Heavy Metal rarity that would grace any discerning collection.
Registered post only on this one as it's highly valuable and nobody wants one of the few surviving copies to "go missing"! Please wait for invoice once I know which country it's going to, so I can determine the actual cost. I've been on eBay for 15 years and have 100% positive feedback. Good luck everyone :)
