UNPLAYED Classic Records first edition (1996) virgin vinyl original master recording 180 gram 45 RPM 4 LP like new in beautiful Mint- (near mint plus), our highest grade for an opened item!  This coveted set has been stored in a protective plastic sleeve (to protect against shelfwear) and between cardboard liners (to protect against ringwear) in a smoke & pet-free, climate controlled home. I purchased this when it was first released by Classic Records and have carefully stored and protected it ever since.

FAR AND AWAY THE BEST SOUNDING VERSION OF ONE OF THE GREATEST JAZZ ALBUMS OF ALL TIME!!! CONTAINS GOODBYE PORK PIE HAT AND SEVERAL OTHER SENSATIONAL MINGUS MASTERPIECES!!!  FAR SUPERIOR TO ANY OF THE LATER REISSUES!!!

There are four 180 Gram LPs in this set. This was the first 45 RPM pressing of this legendary audiophile title, released in 1996. This album was mastered by Bernie Grundman from the original Columbia Records first generation master tapes using an all analogue system, and pressed on high grade virgin vinyl at RTI for the ultimate in audiophile sound. There are no cutout marks, seam splits, ringwear, abrasions, or any other issues with this item.
