Description
This is a limited edition box set released by Classic Records of the first 10 titles that they released in 1994-95. It is #1-0251 but I don’t have any information on how many sets were released. The original sale price was $400.00. “These titles (recorded by Decca in England for RCA Living Stereo release in the USA) include many of the greatest and most highly collectible classical LPs of our time.” (from a brochure included in the set). All titles were mastered by Bernie Grundman and pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI. The records are all in near mint condition with no scratches or scuffs. They play very quietly throughout but there are a few ticks here and there over the 10 records. The sound is excellent as well. The records have been cleaned with using the Audio Intelligent cleaning fluids using a VPI record cleaner, and with an AudioDesk Untrasonic record cleaner, and demagnetized with a Furutech DeMag.
