Description

  • Magnificent performance and close to mint condition on this fabulous 14 LP stereo box set of Beethoven’s “32 Sonatas And Variations” (Philips 6768 351, Arrau Edition, Netherlands) performed by Claudio Arrau.
  • Included are the 32 Sonatas, 15 "Eroica Variations", 32 Variations on an Original Theme in C minor, and 6 Variations in F, Op 34.
  • Also included is a near mint 40-page booklet (in several languages) plus a 4-page insert about Claudio Arrau and the other box sets offered by Philips in the Arrau Edition series.
  • I never rate opened LPs as mint but I’m tempted with this incredible set as it appears to have been played very little, if at all (I'll call it mint minus). The attached picture shows just one LP so you can see the label. The box and all inserts are also in near mint condition.
