Description
Clear Blue Sky 1970 12" Vinyl LP on the Vertigo Swirl label 6360 013
As described on the Vertigo-Swirl website (Britain VO1 to 6360-013) with "Play It Loud" over-printed with a red stripe on the spine but still visible
Record and sleeve in GOOD condition (Record Collector Magazine's Grading Guide)
The initials "BJH" are on the front sleeve top left corner and the name "BRIAN" on the inner sleeve bottom right corner, both in light ball-point There is a small patch of surface abrasion on the sleeve front, to the left of "Clear Blue Sky", probably where a price sticker has been removed
The liner is NOT a Vertigo issue, just poly-lined from 1969 with tips on how to care for your records
The vinyl is clean and flat but has several light scratches and a few minor clicks / ticks are audible during play, nothing serious There is a short "marching on concrete" piece towards the end of the "Birdcatcher" track, these are NOT clicks / ticks
On a musical note (pardon the pun), the transition from part A to part B of side A seems "odd" and dis-jointed to me. Was the production on this 1970 release a bit suspect?
