Description
Seldom seen funk effort from Ramsey Lewis' bass-man. Featuring the rest of the "kats" Morris Jennings, Kenneth Prince, Ernest Johnson, and co. The menu is an array of Jazz/Funk cuts with heavy bass-work, snappy drumming and groovy arranging. For the funskters, check out "Chi-Town Theme" (a windy city stormer), "Keena" (sick beats with a mellow rhythm approach), "Let's Have A Party" (dancefloor burner), the super-soulful "Are You Out There Somewhere Caring", the heavy dance sound of "All Your Lover, All Day, All Night" (my personal fave, a minimalist funk tune with hard bass and squeeking sax). This one is a super tough catch on the Black Jazz label and I haven't seen another copy in over 5 years! Do the do, Eaton's groove!
