Cliff Richard - A Voice in the Wilderness / Don't Be Mad At Me - rare 78, 1960. Columbia DB.4398.
This is a scarce example of one of the last (probably the last) 78 rpm releases by Cliff Richard and the Shadows - A Voice in the Wilderness / Don't Be Mad At Me. It was released on the Columbia label in 1960 (DB. 4398). The labels show slight signs of use. They are not grazed or dirty but you can see spindle-marks on them if you bother to look. The record itself is in NEX condition. In my experience, so long as a 78 has no chips and is not cracked there are only three grades to work with. Either it is pretty much as good as new (EX). Or it is wrecked with loads of scratches and a dull surface. (F or G). Or, it is somewhere in the middle (VG). This is very nearly EX. It is still quite shiny and has just a couple of light scratches and a couple of scuffs. I don't know what it will sound like on an electric record player as I only have a wind-up gramophone to play 78s but I can tell you that it sounds great. It is still in its Columbia paper cover.The record will be well-wrapped / packed. I have sent many 78s through the mail over the last few years without a single accident.

Worldwide airmail is £7.50.
Proof of posting is always obtained from the post office. Insurance costs extra and is optional.
