Description
A Genuine Sir Cliff Richard Autograph and a book rarely found in this excellent condition.
Which One’s Cliff - An absolute must for any Sir Cliff fan. This is a fully genuine autographed autobiography purchased by me personally at a Tear Fund charity shop in Newcastle upon Tyne, after an appearance by Cliff, in the late seventies.
The book is less common than other later autobiographies with the same title and is ghost written by Bill Latham who was involved in Cliff’s conversion to Christianity and helped organise his programme of Christian engagements.
Not surprisingly then apart from the early days of his life and schooldays through to the ‘bad boy of pop’ and becoming a teenage idol and family entertainer, there’s a fascinating insight into Cliff’s Christianity and what his faith meant for his personal life and public image up to the mid seventies.
It’s illustrated throughout with black and white photos.
This book is in excellent condition considering it’s 30 years old and only has some scuff marks on the cover from being on a shelf. I’ve bought new books in this condition.
Even if you’ve got Cliff’s autograph already, the book is still worth having, particularly as it was ghost written by someone who knew Cliff so well at the time. If you’ve seen him on his fantastic current tour you’ll know how he feels about what is written wrongly about him.
It's from my collection of looked after and treasured Cliff records, CDs, books and memorabilia collected since the early sixties, some of which I'll be auctioning or selling over the next few months to help fund my son's further education - he's no longer one of the Young Ones. Watch out for more soon.
For all Cliff fans - if you missed in his current tour get the DVD - the concert was FAB
Please see my other Cliff Richard treasures coming up for auction later this week.
The book can be sent next day special delivery at £1 more. The postage cost of £5.85 is to cover packaging and insurance due to value of autograph.
