Description
Very tempting to keep this, as it’s a record you won’t see very often , let alone in this condition. This is the original release from 1959 by Cliff Richard and the Drifters - Cliff No 1 EP, in Stereo. The EP is on Columbia Records. Catalogue number ESG 7754. It also has the original sticker on the front cover, stating EMI stereophonic recording. They have made use of the audience screaming between tracks to accentuate the stereo. The vinyls are, well was just going to grade them as EX, but I will be very conservative and grade them as VG +. Really nice copy. I have played both sides of the record from start to finish and it plays well . The only minor fault I could see is that the record didn’t seem totally flat, but made absolutely no difference in sound quality. The labels are very clean with a little bit of spindle wear. The laminated picture sleeve is VG, very clean, tiny bit of wear in top right hand corner, bit of light storage wear. The record was played on an Amos compact turntable. All in all, I really don’t think you would find a better copy than is, it’s 59 years old and make take 50 years to find a better example.
