Clifford Brown "Memorial Album" original LP, Blue Note # 1526, mono Lexington Ave pressing
This auction is for an original copy of the Blue Note jazz album "Memorial Album" by Clifford Brown. Sesssions feature Gigi Gryce, Charlie Rouse, Percy Heath, Art Blakey, Lou Donaldson, Elmo Hope, Philly Joe Jones, and John Lewis. Record has the deep groove Blue Note label without the copywrite under the "E" and the Lexington address in script, RVG and "ear" etched in dead wax, no printing on spine. Album is an original and was obtained along with many other 50s and early 60s jazz records from original owner. Vinyl is VG++ with only two minor marks that do not affect play with plenty of gloss and shine. Jacket is VG with some light wear and a tight 3" split on upper spine. A very nice copy of this hard to find jazz LP. Will ship well packed in cardboard record mailer.
