Clifford Jordan- In the World

Hello. Welcome to our auction. This is for Clifford Jordan's 1972 album "In the World" released on Strata-East Records. This is the Dolphy Series produced by Clifford Jordan. A few veteran musicians from Blue Note appear on this record. Catalogue number is SES-1972-1. This is a stereo pressing. Also, this is a promotional copy. It was originally recorded in the spring of 1969. The record is G+/VG-/VG with some light to moderate surface wear. Pretty much all of the record is in real good shape except for a few slightly heavier marks on side one. The rest of the scuffs are just from normal wear. Nothing that affects playback. The label is in pretty good shape and features a promo stamp on both sides. There are a few light spindle marks, not bad. There is just normal wear on this LP but it is not major. It was tough to grade this record. We played this record with a Sumiko Pearl cartridge and then routed the audio through a two-channel amplifier. It sounds pretty good. Cover is G+/VG-/VG with some pretty minimal wear. It does contain some very light ring wear. Contains some minor corner dents. The spine is in nice shape and can be read easily when upon a shelf. There is a small stain from something in the upper right-hand corner. We don't know what it is but it looks a little bit like rust. We lightly cleaned it off. It looks better than it did before. There is no promo stamp or sticker on the front or back of the cover. No seam splits, no writing and no major marks at play here. All in all, this is a pretty clean copy. Please check out the photographs for a further visual description.
