Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played.  I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.

  • These are Clover's first two albums on Mercury Records.
  • Clover featured Huey Lewis on vocals and harmonica. Note that he spelled his last name as 'Louis' back then.
  • Clover also featured John McFee on lead guitar. He went on to join the Doobie Brothers and is still with them today.
  • These are both Mercury Records Promotional Copies of the First Pressings of the original 1977 releases.
  • They have never been played.
  • The gold foil Promo stamp is on the top back cover of both LP's.
  • The covers have tight seams and show no wear.
  • The inner sleeves are generic Mercury catalog sleeves.
  • These are one-owners that the Seller got new from Mercury Records in 1977. They have been in storage for 44 years.
