Description
CLUB AFRICA 2:
Hard African Funk, Afro Jazz, and Afro Beat
Compiled by Russ Dewbury
This OUTSTANDING 2xLP is from 2000 and is on the Strut records label.
Very hard to find on vinyl now, this is a superb collection of tracks featuring great artists like Manu Dibango, Lettya Mbulu, and Hugh Maskela. Some incredible musicianship and soaring vocals....I particularly love the letta Mbulu track, WOW what a voice she has got!
You like the Fela/Femi Kuti sounds, you'll love this! Grab this it already is highly collectable.
The tracklisting is as follows spread over 2x12" vinyl:
A1 Manu Dibango - New Bell A2 Babatunde Olatunji - Takuta A3 Living Funk - Let Your Mind Take The Place Of Your Body
B1

I would rate the sleeves and the records themselves as VERY GOOD CONDITION ++.............the records have VERY minor surface marks, which do not affect the playback quality at all.
The sleeves are in Very Good Condition ++, with wonderful sleeve notes about each record. With some less well known artists and tracks on this LP it's really valuable to have this information. The photos on the back of the sleeve are also brilliant, some brilliant shots of the African scene.
Apologies about the price of postage, but it is a fairly heavy item, which is reflected in the price. I WILL ONLY POST BY RECORDED DELIVERY as proof that it has been sent.
I can combine postage costs if you buy more than one album from my listings. Email me for prices.
I will post to international buyers, but please contact me for postage costs before you bid.
PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. LOTS OF SIMILAR LPs GOING FOR GRABS AT THE MOMENT AND OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS, SOME REAL TREASURES. GRAB A BARGAIN WHILST YOU CAN!
I am reluctant to accept bids from buyers with 0 feedback due to time wasters in the past.
Good luck!
